From today, Vodafone customers—and users on any network—can have their broken Samsung, Apple or Google handset repaired in as little as two hours at select Vodafone stores. The new Fix & Go service debuts on 14 July at five locations: White City, Stratford and Oxford Street in London; Princes Street in Edinburgh; and St David’s Centre in Cardiff. A further 13 stores will join the programme later this year.
Repairs are carried out by Vodafone-trained specialists in partnership with Fonehouse and cover out-of-warranty devices. Pricing starts at £39 for charging port replacements and £49 for battery swaps, with all parts covered by a new Vodafone warranty.
Customer research highlighted that 56% of people worry most about being without a phone during repairs, while 53% cite unexpected costs as a barrier. Fix & Go addresses both concerns by offering transparent pricing, rapid turnaround and in-store convenience.
“We’re really excited to launch Fix & Go by Vodafone in stores. This trial is a key milestone in our journey to become number one for customer experience and provides exceptional value just weeks after the creation of VodafoneThree,” said Jon Shaw, Consumer Operations Director, VodafoneThree.
“Repairs, in particular, have been difficult or inconvenient for many people to access, but Fix & Go by Vodafone removes these barriers.”
